Intercontinental Paris Le Grand unveils a pastry made in partnership with Repetto

As it happens every year, Intercontinental Paris le Grand teams up with a big fashion name to create an haute-couture pastry. This year, it’s Maison Repetto that has created a pastry based on pink grapefruit and made by Sophie de Bernardi.

For several years, InterContinental Paris Le Grand teams up with big fashion names to create a tasty and fashion-inspired pastry.

After Barbara Bui, Elie Saab, Jean-Claude Jitrois, Stéphane Rolland and even Inès de la Fressange, it’s time for Maison Repetto to get pencils and draw an haute-couture dessert, made afterwards by Café de la Paix pâtissiers and pastry chef Sophie de Bernardi!

On the occasion, Repetto came up with a feminine pastry bearing the pink colors of the fashion house and inspired by the Eau de Parfum Repetto. Pink grapefruit quickly became a must as it’s the perfect winter fruit.

This creation includes grapefruit mousse, lotus and marshmallow cream and grapefruit confit. The whole is covered in crunchy white chocolate and coated in grapefruit glaze.

The pastry is completed on top and bottom by a grapefruit and gluten-free cookie. Last but not least, a floral touch on the hat of the pastry brings a poetic touch to this mouthwatering creation.
