La Papoterie, a new pottery studio-café in Paris 11th arrondissement

Coffee and pottery fans, we’ve found a place likely to fulfill your two passions: La Papoterie. This new café-pottery covering 80sqm is about to open in Paris 11^th arrondissement on rue Ternaux.

In 2011, La Papoterie cofounder Laura discover the concept of café-pottery studio, place of life, food and creation mixing arts and food in Montreal. Very famous in Canada, USA and England and even in Germany, the café-pottery studio is still little known in Paris – even though there’s the Atelier Geneviève!

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, La Papoterie café side will provide small simple and tasty food, with fresh and local produces, changing with the seasons (coffee, tea, cakes, cookies, savory pies, craft ciders, fresh juices).

But pottery studio side, La Papoterie will provide you with – and all year around – workshops about decorating on earthenware made by hand by French potters with colored enamels and themed workshops such as modeling and illustrating provided by Laura and Coline.

Allow between €8 and €50 to take part in these workshops to learn how to decorate pottery!
