This year, for Easter 2021, chefs Angelo Musa and Alexandre Dufeu team up again and provide us with a lovely “Jeu de Plissé” Easter egg in tribute to the house’s haute couture heritage.

For Easter 2021, World Pastry Champion and Meilleur Ouvrier de France Angelo Musa and Hôtel Plaza Athénée pastry chef Alexandre Dufeu have come up with a beautiful “coutureegg inspired by the folding technique usually used on fabric to apply on chocolate, yummy!

The duo already delighted us last year with the Oeuf Bijou entirely covered in red and gold. After jewelry, now fashion for a deliciously chic 2021 Easter celebration!

Called “Jeu de Plissé”, this Easter egg is made of “Plaza special” chocolate, exclusively created on the occasion by the famous palace’s chefs. Enjoy this perfectly balanced blend of Madagascan milk chocolate and Venezuelan grand cru dark chocolate, enhanced with homemade almond-hazelnut praline.

Covered in Hôtel Plaza Athénée's iconic red, this chocolate masterpiece is made and decorated by hand. We love how fine and soft the curves are, truly reminding us of a folded fabric. Each egg is unique and bears the signature of the artist who made it.

And of course, the “Jeu de Plissé” Easter egg has surprises inside for maximum indulgence. Children and adults can enjoy caramelized dry fruits along with dark and milk chocolate figures.

A creation available in limited edition to book starting March 29, 2021 and collect at Hôtel Plaza Athénée Galerie from April 2, 2021.
