Musée Guimet opens its panoramic terrace

For the very first time and all summer long, the Musée Guimet invites you to discover its panoramic terrace and its ice cream parlor when the museum reopens on July 8, 2020. The occasion to make the best of the sun while enjoying unobstructed views on the Eiffel Tower.

Craving some ice cream while gazing at Paris and the Eiffel Tower? Run to Musée Guimet opening for the first time every its panoramic terrace as soon as the museum reopens on July 8, 2020. A one-of-its-kind rooftop reminding us of the “deck of great transatlantic liners”, open all summer long until 6 p.m. (and until 9 p.m. on Thursdays), expected to return every year for Asian art fans and lovers of fantastic views.

On the menu of this gorgeous terrace, an ice-cream parlor providing you with a range of delighting flavors, for an open-air tasting and a well-deserved break after roaming around the museum. To get to the summer terrace, head to the third floor of the museum to enjoy the views. Yet, please note the terrace sets up health measures, the same as for visiting the place’s permanent and temporary collections.

Mandatory facemasks, hand-sanitizer available, social distancing, and other preventive measures are part of the instructions to follow for everyone’s safety. And for all those who like to stay cool, make the best of it to discover the two current exhibitions, naming Carte Blanche à Ru Xiao Fan and Fuji, pays de neige. Let’s go, friends, shall we?
