Friends, alert! If you loved Matthieu Carlin's ice-cream truck last year, and if you have not tried his ice cream cookie or homemade ice creams, you have until September 12 to discover them and have a seat on the Guanahani terrace, burrying your feet in sand.
What is new is that from now on, the Hôtel de Crillon has come up with a great place so you can have a seat and feel sand under your feet. Enjoy a genuine beach with views on the Concorde. A way to celebrate the opening of the Guanahani the new Rosewood group hotel in Saint Barth. It will definitively give you the traveling bug!
The least we can say is that Matthieu Carlin managed to push the limits of good food even further. Among the creations you do not want to miss, you have the Guanahani sorbet based on mango, passion fruit and coconut, an extremely balanced mix very true to the taste of fruits. Very low in sugar but flavorful, these iced creations are perfect to cool off this summer.
If you love coffee, do not miss the Affogato with some vanilla ice cream basted in espresso. Make the most of it to enjoy the homemade iced teas, perfect to have a sip during your strolls.
But the real heart-stopper, the creation you really do not want to miss is Matthieu Carlin's frozen Cookie, a never-before-seen creation that required a lot of work.
And that seems worthwhile: the cookie is extremely gooey, barely baked, stuffed with runny salted butter caramel and vanilla ice cream, coated in crunchy dark chocolate. This sweet treat is a sort of mix of all our guilty pleasures and it is perfectly balanced whether we speak of the textures or the tastes. We love it!
In other words, the perfect place to enjoy Matthieu Carlin's incredible ice creams, ideally seated on a deckchair, feets in the sand with a refreshing cup of iced tea.
