Fouquet’s Paris pastry chef Nicolas Paciello has recently opened his very own pastry store, CinqSens, in Paris 15th arrondissement.
For this new mouthwatering adventure, Nicolas Paciello teamed up with entrepreneur William Assouline.
The CinqSens store will come along with the Manufacture CinqSens in Pantin.
The concept of these two places? Providing pastry fans with an exclusive and immersive experience in the heart of the pastry chef’s creative process, from the discovery of his signature ingredients to his very tasty creations.
A process that mostly involves solicitation and use of the five senses thanks to which all the details of the raw materials can be enjoyed.
Visiting the CinqSens Parisian store is a genuine experience designed as a sensory walk exploring and involving your five senses: touch, sound, smell, sight, and taste of course.
Of course, for the time being, the patisserie only opens for takeaway. But in the future, you can come over and enjoy wonderful experiences!
On the menu of the pastry store and the Manufacture CinqSens, Tahitian vanilla pod to flavor a travel cake, or cocoa bean from Guatemala that ends up as a chocolate slab, or even Sicilian pistachio ending in a choux bun ready-to-eat.
Then, every month, you can enjoy a different Signature Dessert by the chef, travel cakes, viennoiseries (on weekends), as well as a selection of choux buns. The chef goes from the quality ingredient and works on it to engance the flavors and pairings.
Enjoy the Tonka bean tarte tatin, a fig and walnut entremets, a chocolate éclair, a lemon and toasted sesame seeds chou bun, a cookie, a Breton finger, cakes (raspberry / ginger; double vanilla...). You are also provided with a lovely range of chocolate slabs, spreads and homemade jams. 90% pistachio spread, it is a go-to!
