This is the first all-thing donut place we find in this area in Paris. Once we proceed it is set on rue Juge (yes, like in “judge” or “judging”), we run by Dupleix to get our precious, a few days prior to Shrove Tuesday. Ideally localized, despite the rather old-fashioned and a tad discouraging façade, Donuterie actually is a bright, very lovely store displaying 15 kinds of hearty and eye-catching donuts.
The lovely waitress makes us drool with donuts and fritters. Yes, at Donuterie, some donuts are stuffed for always more flavors. The best-sellers are Choco Love with hazelnut and caramel candy, Cookies Creaminal (nice pun for a donut glaze in white chocolate and Oreo crumbles), and the Almond Choco (Nutella donut). To all these donuts, add the Godzilla – donut stuffed with vanilla – or the Apple caramel with apple jam. They are sold between €4 and €4.5 for about 90 grams, and it is worth it. They definitely are in our top 3 best donuts in Paris: they are mouthwatering and not sickly-sweet, and will definitely delight (grown-up) children.
Set menus enable us to leave with a donut and a medium-sized hot beverage for €5.5, making of it a very nice address for a snack on the go. Latte, Vanilla Latte, hot cocoa, and teas are available. Donuterie provides you with boxes to make assortment available on Uber Eats in the event you have a special occasion. It is a big yes for us!
