Do you happen to be in the Halles area, looking for a discreet tearoom making you feel like at home? Head to rue du Jour, to the first floor of the agnès b. store to discover their very first tearoom in Paris. As a matter of fact, this concept is not new for agnès b. since there are already agnès B. LPG cafés abroad, especially in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
But this is the first time the designer takes over France and especially the capital city. The concept?
“Le Pain Grillé is a place ‘like at home’.
It has a simple menu based on local and seasonal ingredients.
This is a place I simply love.”
White walls, simple wood tables, have a seat to enjoy some coffee with croissant, a brunch, or even a lunch based on tasty local products. As a matter of fact, at Le Pain Grillé set rue du Jour, bread comes from the tasty Boulangerie du Nil bakery, coffee from Malongo, salmon and cold cuts from Comptoir de la Gastronomie, olive oil and wine from Château de Montfrin and pastries from Stohrer.
