During the Christmas season, Lucas Carton, this historic restaurant dating back to 1839, is unveiling a Christmas tea room where you can enjoy a gourmet 2023 Christmas tea time on Wednesdays and Saturdays in December.
The classic version (50€) or the champagne version (70€) can be enjoyed on the second floor of the establishment, in a lounge usually used for private receptions. This confidential Christmas tea time is sure to please.
At the helm of this delicious snack is pastry chef Jordan Talbot, who has worked with Cyril Lignac, Jacques Genin and Fauchon, and has come up with a whole host of refined creations: chocolate cookie with Christmas spices, marble cake, hazelnut praline flan, Delcorf apple, not forgetting the famous citrus madeleine. All accompanied by a choice of hot beverage: spiced hot chocolate , Christmas tea or fruit juice.

For this gourmet Christmas break, we start with a creamy homemade hot chocolate, a coffee or a tea to choose from a pretty selection of teas from Nectar de Thé. Then we start with delicious airy madeleines with orange, honey and pollen.
We fall for the caramel and pecan cake, melting and crunchy, reminiscent of the texture of a financier.
We also love the chocolate cookie with crunchy sobatcha soufflé.
We take a welcome break with the exotic coconut verrine with mango, galanga and Magao pepper.
Then we melt for the pastry of our choice. For our part, we opted for the excellent cheese cake with yellow lemon and orange blossom, and the little Christmas cake with peanut and caramel.
We rounded off this delicious snack with a chocolate mendiant.
