Head to Azur Café, this new café-restaurant set 63 rue de Ponthieu in Paris 8^th arrondissement, where it feels good to have a seat for lunch or to get a matcha latte with friends. At Azur Café, discover a lovely and short menu, brunch-inspired based on seasonal produces and dishes. If you are looking for healthy dishes and drinks, but Mediterranean style, you have landed perfectly.

Once you have walked through the door, discover a coffee shop with Southern accents. White walls, azure blue earthenware of course, and exposed stones for a warm look. Across the room, the counter/bar welcomes us with an incredible range of cakes and pastries to enjoy all day, often paired with fresh and healthy juices, made to order.

Whether you are looking for a healthy plant-based hot beverage or a sophisticated juice, the café has it all. As for us, we went for chai latte, matcha latte and the Amber, a juice based on carrots, ginger, pineapple, and turmeric.

Moving on to dishes, the menu has been put up together by Romain le Cordroch, Michelin chef from Mumi restaurant. A committed chef who likes working with quality and healthy produces, complying with nature and the environment. For the restaurant, he came up with a menu based on the best fresh, original and homemade products, of course.

The day we came, we discovered the exquisite oeuf parfait with mushrooms and hazelnut oil, and coffee juice. A surprising mix that definitely works.

We also went for the oven-candied purple eggplant, feta cream and petemezi-glazed muscat grape.

If you are vegetarian, the spot was made for you. As vouched for by this burger based on root vegetable patty. Topped with date and tamarin sauce, sliced red cabbage, this dish is a real surprise.

Moving on to dessert, for a brunch or a snack, the pancakes are a go-to. We went for the apple pastilla, crispy and smooth, baked and twisted with cardamom, salted butter caramel, and candied kumquats.
