TheCloud Cakes coffee shop is aptly named, with its airy pastries and cloudy decor. Located on rue Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, the place is cosy and welcoming, like the first address of the brand, on the side of Les Halles, rue Mandar. Here, everything is vegan, from brunch to lunch, from pastries to drinks, inspired by both American and French tastes, between cookie cream and opera. A real little paradise for vegans!
In this peaceful place, we taste the sweets of our choice, like on a small cloud. It's hard to make a selection, between the wide range of drinks available, the large cakes, the cupcakes of different sizes, small or medium according to your hunger or even some savory dishes, for lunch. Are you looking for coconut cheesecake, carrot cake or red velvet cupcake? Please note that Cloud Cakes has its own workshop in Clichy and offers you to take an order in advance for a birthday or a special event that would delight your vegan friends and family.
We opted for an iced mocaccino with vegetable milk, very fresh and delicate, as well as a pretty latte decorated with a heart, particularly tasty. On the dessert side, the dark chocolate and coffee cream opera cupcake won us over with its sweetness, while the chocolate cake proved to be light thanks to its different textures, based on pear jelly and praline chantilly. For those nostalgic for the galette des rois, the almond croissant and its frangipane should delight you, even without beans! The pistachio macaroon is surprising by its texture, since it is without eggs, and despite a little pronounced taste, the discovery is validated!
