La Pasticceria Cova, pastry shop, tea time and beautiful Italian terrace

La Pasticceria Cova is the new café-tea room that has taken its place in the corner just in front of the Samaritaine. This mythical Milanese institution with its refined decor and creative pastries now opens its arms to us in Paris. You can sit down all day long, from breakfast to tea-time, including aperitivo, inside or on the large terrace overlooking the department store and the quays.

Cova is the famous literary café that opened in Milan in 1817, a few steps from La Scala. Verdi, Puccini, Hemingway and Maria Callas all passed through here. The house then moved to Via Montenapoleone, the fashion district, to delight lovers of good Italian pastries .

If the ticket to Italy is a little too expensive for you, you can now enjoy a treat in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, just across from the Samaritaine, you'll discover this large café-tea room with a beautiful spacious terrace. Cova is the ideal spot to rest at any time of the day.

In the morning, you can enjoy a 10€ home-made breakfast composed of a coffee, tea or cappuccino with a croissant and a small surprise pastry . On the menu, Italian coffees of course, detox and healthy juices, eggs and pancakes.

At noon, it's sandwiches! Paninis and other tramezzinis are available for lunch, accompanied by a good pastry, a dessert in a bowl, or even an Italian ice cream and you're at the top.

From 4pm, it's time for the famous Italian tea time. For 38€, you will discover an assortment of homemade sandwiches and toast, a choice of pastries and a range of the pastry chef's creations. All this is accompanied by a selection of homemade teas. You can also opt for the champagne version at 58€ which also includes a tasting of Cova chocolates.
