For this festive season and Christmas 2023 at the Royal Monceau Raffles Paris, Quentin Lechat has imagined a Yule log in collaboration with Messika, which is sure to delight the hearts of Saint-Honoré and vanilla lovers.
Are you looking for an exceptional Yule log that's both refined and appealing to everyone, from grannies to the little ones? Quentin Lechat, the palace's master pastry chef, has joined forces with the Messika jewelry house to take the Yule log to a whole new level. The result is a work of art for both the eye and the palate: the Full Vanille log.
The co-creation unveils an immaculate entremets, featuring Move motifs inspired by diamonds in motion. The creation pays tribute to vanilla, described as "the pastry chef's diamond" by Quentin Lechat. The delicacy of this entremets comes in a variety of textures: praline, creamy, crunchy and bavaroise - we loved it!
But the magic doesn't stop there. Little golden, caramelized choux sprinkle the log, reminiscent of the sparkle of gold and diamonds. This is a modern interpretation of the traditional Saint-Honoré, echoing the first Messika boutique on the rue du Saint-Honoré in Paris.
Beyond this gourmet treat, the festivities have only just begun. Messika is offering a unique holiday experience in collaboration with Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris. The atmosphere will be magical. The hotel's spaces will sparkle in the jeweler's colors. Electric blue/purple fir trees, Messika's signature color, will light up the place, accompanied by XXL Silver flakes and numerous Messika gift packages.
