For Christmas 2020, Jean-Paul Hévin offers foodies to enjoy the Bûche Victor yule log as a tribute to the pop years. Yum!

Inspired by the 1970'sJean-Paul Hévin has come up with several tasty cakes for the Holidays 2020.

This year, the famous chocolate maker let himself be inspired by the early sixties to the 1970's, a dynamic, insolent, and merry period of time where art drew inspiration from the street and design. A philosophy Jean-Paul Hévin cares about!

To pay tribute to these Pop years, chef Jean-Paul Hévin has come up with several yule logs we present you now

  • The Bûche Victor

A creation referring to the Fondation Vasarely and its work on shapes. This beautiful modern and vintage yule log is based on sour and fruity hints paired with Grand Cru Ecuadorian chocolate. It is based on almond cake, mango, lemon and basil crème brûlée, chocolate sacher cake twisted with bergamot citrus, and 70% cocoa Grand Cru Ecuadorian chocolate mousse.

Our favorite one, of course! All aboard with this yule log and its surprising look, a sort of deconstructed car. Inside this travel creation (the only yule log delivered everywhere in France and that can be kept up to 5 days at room temperature!): crunchy shortbread, Grand Cru Peru dark chocolate mousse twisted with passion fruit, and super bitter dark chocolate cake. We loved it!

And of course, let us not forget about the other chocolate creations by Jean-Paul Hévin for the Holidays. This year, the chocolate maker gives prid of place to chocolate from Cameroun with a new slab called Cible (€3.90), Disco chocolate bonbons (€1.20 each), with spicy hints and dry fruits, and last but not least, Mac-Pop macarons (€1.90 each).
