Looking for something new for Epiphany 2021? Well then, head to Hugo & Victor stores in January! This year, Hugues Pouget unveils an exclusive creation: his Galette des rois Signature.
This Galette Signature Epiphany Cake is based on a mix of pears and chestnuts enhanced with a bit of Tonka bean, and available in stores for €49 serving 6 to 8. And with its unique chestnut-like shape, we can already picture your guests falling in love with it!
For the others, fall for the traditional 100% Made in France Galette. Made by the book, this galette des rois is based on raw almond cream made of almonds from Occitanie, French wheat gruel flour, and extra-fresh butter from the Charentes-Poitou AOP cooperative. The whole is delicately spread on caramelized flaky pastry for the perfect crunch. Allow €25 serving 4, €45 serving 6 to 8 and €55 serving 10 to 12.
Last but not least, there is no Epiphany without the Brioche des Rois, is it? Hugo & Victor’s is made of keffir lime and lemon zests. This flaky brioche will have your guests fall in love with it. Allow €35 for this Brioche des Rois serving 6 to 8.
Last but not least, this year, chef Hugues Pouget also adds his touch with a cake filled with button mushroom duxelles and seasonal black Melanosporum truffle freshly grated. Note that the rate of this surprising savory Epiphany cake for 6 to 8 foodies will be set depending on the price of the Tuber Melanosporum truffle.
So, which one will you get?
