After the traditional yule log, it is time to enjoy some Epiphany Cake. For Epiphany 2021, Jeremy Del Val – aka Maison Dalloyau pastry creation chef – unveils a cake created in partnership with Café Kitsuné.
The decor represents the famous cup of coffee, like an invitation to seat back and enjoy a cup of coffee with friends or family.
But what is inside? Coffee of course, my dear Watson. But not only! Picture this: crispy on the outside (because it is baked upside down over sugar to get it all nice and caramelized), filled with Piedmont hazelnut cream flavored with coffee and Tahitian vanilla. Add some roasted apples to melt with pleasure and there you go, an original mix to try!
Note that inside these cakes hide 5 porcelain beans made in France to collect and inspired by Café Kitsuné. Among them, 30 winning beans enabling lucky winners to get a meal for 2 at the Palais Royal teahouse. You have been warned...
