As it does every year, A La Mère de Famille chocolaterie has plenty of treats in store for the festive season. And as usual, the oldest chocolate factory in Paris has something for both young and old gourmets, with a collection as cute as it is chocolaty.
Since 1761, À la Mère de Famille has been perpetuating its love of tradition and savoir-faire with mouth-watering, refined creations. So, with Christmas just a few weeks away, we're licking the windows of the famous chocolate factory before making our festive purchases, to give to ourselves, to give as gifts or to have given as gifts!
Available from mid-November, A la Mère de Famille's chocolate creations are numerous, like this 2023 Advent calendar illustrated by cartoonist, caricaturist, illustrator and comic strip author Catherine Meurisse. For the 11th time in its history, the Parisian chocolaterie has called on an artist to interpret her vision of its Advent calendar!
100% gourmet, A La Mère de Famille's 2023 Advent calendar (45€) is filled with 24 chocolates and confectionery, to be found in the Maison's Parisian boutiques. But the latter also unveils a very pretty green velvet Christmas stocking (35€) to hang on the mantelpiece, filled with an assortment of six praline recipes, made by ALMDF.
Last but not least, aesthetes will be delighted by the Maison's truffles, a Christmas must-have, available this year in three recipes: the traditional truffle with a melting, cocoa-powdered heart is offered in a full-bodied ganache from Madagascar or Peru, and a Bourbon vanilla-infused truffle. Count €29.50 for a 250g box!
And let's not forget the chocolate lollipops and marshmallows that make children melt... We don't know about you, but we're hooked!
