It’s a colorful Christmas 2019 that Café Pouchkine offers you to enjoy, thanks to the very beautiful and delicious creations designed by pastry chef Patrick Pailler.
First things first, two new yule logs especially created for this Christmas 2019.
This yule log shaped like a white chocolate cage with shading orange hues holds a lovely surprise… It’s made of almond cake, mango confit with chopped fresh mango, orange cake soaked in white rum-passion syrup, Madagascar vanilla mousse and mango jelly.
Perfect to enjoy a Tropical Christmas without traveling to faraway lands!
Price: €80, serving 6 to 8 foodies. Available from December 16, 2019.
Under a white chocolate strip with Bayadere colors dear to Café Pouchkine, the Bûche Bayadère Pouchkine is based on crispy praline and speculoos mix, caramel and vanilla crème brûlée insert, Genoa cake with almonds and caramel as well as light Jasmine tea mousse.
Romantic and chic for those who are sentimental!
Price: €85, serving 8 foodies. Available from December 16, 2019.
And that’s not all! Pastry chef Patrick Pailler also came up, for the Holidays 2019, a creation only available at Printemps: the Coupole “Pouchkine Printemps” Hausmann.
This cupola is topped on crispy chocolate and praline mix, dressed in golden fruit jelly lace flavored with blueberry. It’s based on 67% dark chocolate mousse with hazelnut, blueberry and blackcurrant fruity heart, light kirsch cream and cocoa cake soaked in black berry syrup.
Price: €9.20 to take away. Available from November 19, 2019 to January 20, 2020.
