For Easter 2021, Cédric Grolet is back again with one of the creations that has been enjoyed by many foodies: his famous Noisette Or! This wonderful chocolate egg is to get for yourself or to share with friends or family, we hope will not be placed into lockdown.
Worthy of his famous fruit-shaped sculpture-pastries, Cédric Grolet's Easter Hazelnut will delight high-end Easter chocolate fans. For 30 euros the egg for one and 350 euros the XXL egg, the star pastry chef promises an exclusive culinary experience. When breaking the gold shell, you will find a simple a layer of chocolate ganache mixed with hazelnut praline sprinkled with whole toasted hazelnuts. The chocolate egg tries to recreate the taste of hazelnut if you love praline!
In Le Meurice Patisserie, on 6 rue de Castiglione, it will be possible to order his signature pastry, the Noisette d'Or, a creamy and tasty treat based on crispy hazelnut praline with fleur de sel and smooth vanilla caramel. This flagship pastry is sold €17. Even though the chef has presented his creation for Le Meurice, we are still waiting to discover his creation for his own patisserie, Cédric Grolet Opéra, open since November 2019, a few steps from the Palace, on Avenue de l'Opéra.
