This year, the Peninsula Paris' galette des rois, created forEpiphany 2024, is sure to seduce. Under a sublime puff pastry in the shape of a flower with multiple petals, it makes you want to dive into gourmlandise.
To kick off the new year with panache, Pastry Chef Anne Coruble, recently voted Pastry Chef of the Year by La Liste, unveils her latest creation, the "Floralie" galette. It's a lovely creation that pays tribute to nature and heralds the anniversary of the prestigious Peninsula Paris in 2024. This galette, reminiscent of a flower with its 10 cleverly arranged petals, celebrates the establishment's 10th anniversary in an elegant and subtle way.
The " Floralie " galette is an invitation to a delightful gustatory voyage, with its puff pastry infused with the flavors of hazelnut and lemon zest. At the heart of this creation is an exquisite frangipane cream, made with raw roasted almond and Normandy Luzerne honey, topped with an opaline of Peninsula Honey, a product of beekeeping in the hotel's gardens.
This delicacy is accompanied by a caramel of Marais honey and Isigny cream, delicately scented with tagetes flowers and Tahitian vanilla. Available as a limited edition, this galette conceals a unique, numbered bean at its heart, offering those lucky enough to taste it an unforgettable culinary and commemorative experience.
