It's time to discover the rankings for the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2023, compiled every year for over 20 years by a panel of voters made up of 1,080 independent personalities from the gastronomy sector - renowned chefs, food journalists and gourmet travelers.
The restaurants ranked 51st to 100th were revealed in mid-June, with Parisians once again well placed in the 51-100 ranking, with 4 Parisian restaurants in the half-list, and a brand new entry: the restaurant Kei.
The Alléno Paris restaurant at the Pavillon Ledoyen has risen from 58th place in 2022 to 78th place in 2023; Le Clarence from 28th place to 67th place in 2023; and L'Arpège from 31st place in 2022 to 62nd place this year.
The rest of the ranking, from 50th to 1st place, was revealed on June 20, 2023, in Valence. Arnaud Donckele's restaurant Plénitude, located in the Cheval Blanc hotel at the Samaritaine, was awarded 36th place; Septime, located in the 12th arrondissement, which was already in the top 30 last year, climbed to 24th place. Finally, Bruno Verjus' Michelin-starred Table restaurant, also located in the 12th arrondissement, climbs to the top of the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2023 ranking, from 77th place last year to 10th place this year.
