Lenôtre temporary pastry studio

From November 19, 2018 to January 13, 2019, Maison Lenôtre opens its “Atelier Ephémère”, a temple dedicated to pastry (the art of working the dough) in all its shapes, set rue Etienne Marcel in the heart of the Marais.

Pastry, flaky pastry and other delicious creations fans will be delighted! From November 19, 2018 to January 13, 2019, the prestigious maison Lenôtre invites us to discover its “Atelier Ephémère” dedicated to the art of pastry.

Set in rue Etienne Marcel, this high gourmet place highlights the art of working all doughs, as much as an envelope as base for sweet or savory dishes. No matter if it’s all about flaky pastry, brioche dough, sweet shortcrust pastry or bread dough… all doughs are given pride of place.

At the helm of this contemporary temple, we have Guy Krenzer, twice Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) charcutier and cuisinier, the brain behind creation and the various workshops of the Maison Lenôtre. The latter signs exclusive creations (tarts, pies, patés…) to discover at the workshop. His mission is simple: offering a moment of sharing and pure love of good food to gourmet people.

This elegant 30-smq studio is like a pastry box. Produces are displayed parsimoniously and promoted, especially by the finishing touches (cut, cream pipping…) of the Maison Lenôtre MOF who work there every day, in turn, alternating with Guy Krenzer, in front of the clients.

We can enjoy and buy a dozen of unique sweet or savory creations. The place also offers a lunch offering.

As for lunch, if you go for a starter or an aperitif, Guy Krenzer concocted among others:

  • A delicious salmon coulibiac where fish dominates and is not altered by the dough and the other ingredients, perfectly served with its delicious orange mayonnaise.
