The Village for culinary and artisanal diversity 2019 at Paris Jardin des Halles

About a thirty stands over world’s gastronomy and crafts including a JR exhibition: this is what the Village de la Diversité culinaire et artisanale [Village for culinary and artisanal diversity] has in store from Friday May 17 to Saturday June 1, 2019 at Paris Jardin des Halles.

World’s gastronomy and crafts in Paris for two weeks…

Set from Friday May 17 to Saturday June 1, 2019 within the new Jardin des Halles in Paris 1st arrondissement, the Village de la Diversité culinaire et artisanale will bring together over 30 stands providing world’s gastronomy and crafts as well as a JR exhibition.

Created with the sponsorship of the Commission nationale française pour l’UNESCO [French national commission for the UNESCO], the 1st arrondissement town hall and its cultural entertainment committee, this event is the occasion for Parisians and tourists to discover food from all over the world and experience a culinary journey to Madagascar, India and even Morocco. Cooking workshops will also be provided.

In addition to these mouthwatering discoveries, the Village de la Diversité culinaire et artisanale will give pride of place to crafted products coming from all over the world.

To top it all, this temporary village will deliver various cultural activities such as living shows, concerts, traditional dances without forgetting calligraphy exhibitions and conferences…

The many JR fans will be over the moon since the artist will be given the floor on May 21 with an exhibition showing several portraits of storekeepers and artisans from Paris 1st arrondissement.
