First, to meet Les Climats patrons’ wish to bring back home one or several bottles of the nectars they’ve tested in the Michelin-starred restaurant, La Cave des Climats provides – only – a hundred references (out of the 3000 references!) from the Les Climats wine list.
But La Cave des Climats doesn’t stop here. If Les Climats devotes itself to Burgundy wines, at La Cave des Climats, Burgundy wines only count for 60% of the offer. You have then other vintages.
The two sommeliers, Mélina Groguelin and Franck-Emmanuel Mondésir have also selected champagnes, wines from Jura, Jurançon, Provence and even Bordeaux. They also have an impressive range of whiskies, chartreuses and ciders.
More than a simple cellar, La Cave des Climats is a store as much as a place where you can have a seat with friends to enjoy bottles available, but you can also grab a bite such as cold cuts from Maison Conquet in Laguile, cheeses from Terroirs d’Avenir, smoked salmon or even taramasalatas.
Every month, La Cave des Climats organizes meetings with winemakers who come to make you taste their wines and tell you about their stories.
