Cupkie is the brand-new mouthwatering address on rue Monge opening on December 4, 2019.
Cupkie has decided to rely on the trendy cookie dough…Yes, you read well, it’s a store providing raw cookie dough. It’s the very first store in France to do so. What a dream come true!
We all know that cookie dough is first a tasty ice cream flavor we can find at Ben&Jerry’s. But looking closer, we find really chunks of cookie dough mixed with vanilla ice cream.
While in France we can only enjoy this cookie dough-flavored ice cream, when travelling to San Francisco, blogger and influencer Megan Vilt sees that cookie dough is a true trend in America and she has decided to bring this concept back to France.
Her store, Cupkie, sells raw cookie dough served in cardboard cup. The first question you may ask is, is this dough digestible? Well, yes, since the recipes created by Megan Vlt and her team are free of egg (it’s raw egg that is not digestible), gluten-free, without sweetener and slightly sweetened and based on special flour that underwent a thermal treatment to avoid bacteria.
Cupkie provides four cookie dough recipes including 2 vegan ones. This cookie dough is to spice up with toppings and craft ice cream. Cupkie provides about forty toppings (spread, custard, chestnut cream, fruit coulis, whipped cream, hazelnuts, pecans, cereals, granola, kiwi, banana, strawberry, raspberry, hazelnut praline, and candies…), as well as six ice creams.
You can only get ice cream if you’re not into cookie dough.
Moreover, Cupkie also provides drinks to pair the dough: organic coffees and teas, iced coffee made to order, homemade and sugar-free iced tea or even homemade lemonade.
And you, will you dough for it?
