Merouan Bounekraf, former Top Chef candidate (season 10), has settled in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. He has just opened Panade, his first bakery-pastry shop, which is both warm and ultra gourmet, with savory and sweet proposals inside, of course, without forgetting pastries and good bread! Shall we pay you a visit?

After his participation in Top Chef, then in the show"Mon gâteau est le meilleur de France" as a member of the jury and finally the publication of two recipe books, Merouan Bounekraf still needed to surprise us and tickle our taste buds. It's done with the opening of Panade. Located in the 15th district of the capital, this bakery-pastry shop knows how to welcome you! Smiles on the lips of the cheerful team, a warm place, and above all a beautiful window behind which are hidden tempting pastries, beautiful loaves of bread, and tasty savory and sweet proposals, declined in the form of pies.

I might as well tell you right away, but you won't know where to turn with all this. And if you know Merouan Bounekraf well, then you can imagine that the Chef couldn't help but find, for each of his creations, a few original names with puns of his own that we are fans of! Among them, we find the " T'as une tâche " (pistachio) pie, the caloric (and not dietetic) lemon and hazelnut bar, or the " Truffion " (a Viennese bread flavored with truffle).

But let's stop procrastinating and get to the heart of the matter with, for the sweet tooth, several beautiful and delicious pastries, such as the " Tartuccinno " with cappuccino, the excellent " KK8 ", a long tartlet with an intense taste of peanuts, the " Marrondarine " (chestnut and mandarin cream tart) or the pear and elderberry tart, without forgetting the inevitable Tropezian tart.... so many proposals with diverse and varied flavors that will delight the palate and the eyes of the gourmets that you are!

For a lighter sweet break, opt for the strawberry and pistachio bar (4,50€), the generous pistachio and white chocolate cookie (5,50€), the lemon and hazelnut financier (3,50€) or the Gianduja smiley at 6,50€ (happy or not happy, depending on your mood).

If you are more salty, then Panade hopes to arouse your curiosity with its three pies to choose from: the " Tartruffe " (with truffle and topped with an egg), the " Tartichaut " (with artichoke) and the " Burratarte " (you have probably guessed it, with burrata). Count between 10€ and 12,50€ for a savory pie. Let yourself be tempted by the " Cruffin ", the flaky brioche, in a salted version.

As for the pastries, there are many possibilities between the classic croissants and pains au chocolat, but also the two-taste croissant (surprise inside), the " Raisintine " (a revisited raisin bread), the ultra gourmet " Brownantine " without forgetting the famous brioche, and the unavoidable " Panadais ", best-seller of the house.

And let's not forget the breads offered at Panade, because it is indeed a bakery-pastry shop. Wholemeal bread, corn bread, farmhouse bread, spelt bread, sandwich bread, 6-grain bread... the hardest part will be to choose, but don't hesitate to ask for advice if you have any doubt.

And to top it all off, Panade also offers a small grocery corner with, among other things, chocolate offered in collaboration with Valrhona, so you can make your own pastries like a chef!

With the arrival of this new Parisian bakery-pastry shop, the 15th arrondissement no longer has to envy its neighboring districts.
So, are you ready to push open the doors of Panade, and taste the mouth-watering sweet and savory pies signed Merouan Bounekraf?
