Villa M's gourmet brunch

Villa M is the new hydride hotel that opened its doors at the end of 2021 in the 15th arrondissement. Imagine a verdant spot that combines health, well-being and innovation. Designed by Philippe Starck and the Franco-Brazilian architecture firm Triptyque, the hotel is a tribute to vegetation and relaxation.

On arrival, the spacious restaurant faces us, with its large open kitchen to the left and bar to the right. Warm wooden furniture, leather, colorful ethnic mismatched seats, rugs and cushions, large armchairs and cosy banquettes, everything is designed to make you feel at ease. This gourmet address is by Paris Society, the group founded by Laurent de Gourcuff, whose fine restaurants include Gigi, Perruche, Coco, le Mun and Bambini et Monsieur Bleu.

Opposite the restaurant, a large bay window opens onto the long, green terrace. A hidden terrace that cuts us off from the noise of the street. Large and small tables, as well as comfortable armchairs, reveal themselves to us. Here, a wall of greenery, fig trees and climbing plants should quickly take over the space. Garlands of guinguette-style lights suggest that the evenings will be delightful on the terrace.

We head for the bar to discover the buffet of viennoiseries, breads, starters, cheeses and desserts .

You can sit in the dining room or on the terrace when the sun is shining, and as the weather is fine, we opt for the leafy terrace. In the dining room, we enjoy live music, as a singer with a guitar and a soft voice enchant us during the meal. Once you've wolfed down the pastries and toast with the salmon and charcuterie, you can choose from the à la carte menu of hot dishes served at the table. You can opt for two starters or a more substantial course per menu.

For example, you can choose the salmon version of Eggs Benedict, the brioche bun with pulled pork and, for the main course, the peanut Crispy Chicken with Cajun sauce and home fries. Gourmet, moist and crunchy, we're having a great time.

And, of course, it's accompanied by fresh juices and hot drinks. In fact, we're served a tangy raspberry smoothie on arrival.

For a sweet finish, we return to the dessert buffet to find what we're looking for: millefeuille, cream puffs, tiramisu, tarts, fruit and other Basque cakes. Children are even entitled to their own little candy buffet, but shhh...

As for the family, a dedicated, supervised play area is available for your children's entertainment and relaxation. A €25 menu is available for 4-10 year-olds.

So much for the enchanting interlude of this Sunday brunch. As an added bonus, Villa M also boasts a rooftop with a magical view over the rooftops of Paris and its monuments, which should attract the whole of Paris for festive evenings.
