Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée: the new design hotel in Paris 12th arrondissement

Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée is the brand new hotel at the Porte Dorée, in the 12th district. Located only a few minutes away from the Bois de Vincennes, this design hotel offers its guests luxury, calm, voluptuousness and a beautiful sunny terrace, for the beautiful days!

Museum of the History of Immigration, Aquarium, Zoo, Foire du Trône, Bois de Vincennes... The Porte Dorée district in the 12th arrondissement offers a maximum number of places to visit and activities to do. The German group Motel One has understood this, and has chosen this area to set up its first Parisian hotel at 295 Avenue Daumesnil: Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée.

Located just a stone's throw from the Bois de Vincennes, Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée is a design hotel that combines animal and plant motifs with Art Deco style. Each of the 255 rooms has its own particularity, and each detail has been carefully thought out: in the bathroom, you will find soft towels and organic and natural cosmetics.

In the room, the bedding is of high quality, the sheets are made of Egyptian cotton and a boxspring awaits the guests, who choose, inside, the size and texture of the pillows they want. The rugs, depicting abstract scenes of a walk in a park, are the work of Christian Lacroix, and each room has a Smart TV.

On the first floor, the lounge of Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée is decorated in warm tones. The armchairs are signed by Freifrau and Baxter, the sofa by the Italian brand Moroso. One wall is entirely adorned with faceted mirrors inspired by Manet's painting "Un bar aux Folies-Bergère", while another wall has been used as a support for the imagination of Rachel Convers, who has painted amazing hybrid animals.

The marble and brass tables and velvet-covered seats are reminiscent of Parisian bistros. And the bar, vintage to perfection, is sublimated by a set of smoked mirrors and wall panels.

Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée offers a breakfast composed of fresh, high quality products, most of them organic and local. A snack service is available in the lounge until 2am. The bar serves a wide variety of wines, gin, signature cocktails and typical French cocktails.

And as a summer treat, Motel One Paris-Porte Dorée has a beautiful terrace facing the Bois de Vincennes and Lake Daumesnil!
