From July 2 to October 6, 2018, Mandarin Oriental Paris shows the color of Hendrick’s gin and expects you on the Bar 8 terrace to discover exclusive and original cocktails.
They will be served along with appetizers thought up by Thierry Marx and pastry chef Adrien Bozzolo who don’t lack creativity.
New barmaid chef Judicaël Noël event joined forces with searcher in physicho-chemistry at the Centre Français d’Innovation Culinaire [French Center for Culinary Innovation] Raphaël Haumont that he manages with chef Thierry to come up with 2 cocktails “to drink and to eat”.
The “High Garden” is poured in a teacup and is made of Hendrick’s gin of course, green chartreuse, cucumber juice, yellow lemon juice and mint bitter, as well as a splash of Champagne! It will be sipped with a little cucumber fan soaked in gin and a buckwheat blini, horse radish cream and smoked salmon.
As for the “Sweet Mandarin”, it will show you that you can drink a dessert as well. As a matter of fact, it’s a liquid pastry based on gin – always – vanilla dough water foam, mandarin nectar, vanilla bitter and yuzu juice. It’s served with a citrus fruit cookie and mandarin-yuzu cream, lime whipped cream and dried lime powder.
Count on €29 for these two original cocktails and their appetizer.
If you fancy a unique experience in a dream-like setting, head to Bar 8 that turns into a pop-up Hendrick’s bar from July 2 to October 6, 2018 at Mandarin Oriental, Paris!
