If you’ve ever been to London, maybe have you heard about Dumpling Heart. Dumpling Heart is a food-art gallery created on the initiative of food artist and fashion designer Mei-Hui Liu. Taiwanese food and Asian street food culture blend in an East-London atmosphere filled with art and avant-garde fashion.
Her first pop-up restaurant opens in 2015 and what once was a food gallery with friends, quickly turns into a huge Taiwanese food market.
Since we are lucky, Mei comes toHotel Le Pigalle kitchen on March 21, 2019 in order to prepare – among others – dumplings that are exquisite. On the menu: dumplings with pork and vegetables, tofu and vegetables, scallion pancakes served with pickled cucumbers and kimchi, and for dessert, a fantastic brownie.
But Mei didn’t come all alone. She came with Visa and Camille, two renowned drag queens from London club Miss Silk who will set the mood with a colorful show that we can already say will be memorable.
A dumplings x Drag Queens night, who can top that? And if you can’t come on March 21, Mei does it again the night after!
