While it was inaugurated this past February 1, the new hotel Hyatt Regency in Chantilly didn’t include a spa, and for good reason, construction works of its area weren’t done.
But it’s now done and the Spa & Wellness Cottage has been welcoming guests looking for a relaxing and wellness break for a few months.
The building housing the Spa & Wellness Cottage looks like a contemporary country house. By the way, Chantilly Hyatt Regency has been built in the former laundry of the Chantilly Castle.
The Spa & Wellness Cottage has been designed by aesthetic Meilleurs Ouvriers de France finalist Frédérique Mamin who wanted it to be bright, roomy and clear with raw wood and stone.
The spa promotes French know-how privileging French brands and local products.
In terms of thermal baths, the Spa & Wellness Cottage includes two saunas, a big hammam room and an ice fountain, as well as three sensory showers and a large indoor and heated pool.
The spa also enjoys five treatment booths (including a duo one) with large and heated beds providing views on the Chantilly forest.
The spa also provides a large range of treatments (face and body) and massages including custom-made body rubs (based on honey, sugar, salt or wheat) and a ritual based on honey from Chantilly. Massages are tailor-made to suit everyone after you fill in a health form. Practitioners mix different massage techniques such as molding, touching, softer or more tonic movements.
The Spa & Wellness Cottage also provides a parent/child offer with organic products for the youngest ones so that they can share a relaxing moment and discover the joy of wellness.
Last but not least, the Spa & Wellness Cottage is fitted with a gym including state-of-the-art machines and open 24/7.
The access to the hotel’s pool and thermal baths is now open to clients outside the hotel on the condition they booked a treatment.
