Hostels are great again for a few years now. Nice places where you can sleep for a bargain in rather soft beds, and enjoy affordable restaurants. So, major companies have followed in such as Accor with Jo&Joe, hostels popping here and there in Paris and Hossegor.
It has dormitories from 6 to 12 people, mixed or for women only with lockers, curtain systems to get privacy, common bathrooms and USB plugs to charge your phone. In a wooden and metal décor, dormitories do well for a few nights in a simple bed. The asset? It has been entirely decorated by street artists.
Other offers for those looking for more privacy: Jo&Joe private rooms starting from €53 the night and “atypical” bedrooms for €120. For groups of friends – from 2 to 6 people – enjoy a very provate space with everything needed for showering.
To eat, head to the restaurant on the ground floor or the terrace. Tapas (homemade fries, mozzarella sticks, crunchy chicken, mozzarella di bufala and cherry tomatoes) to share between €5 and €8, cold cut and cheese boards for €12, pizzas between €9 and €15, and salads for €12, Jo&Joe clearly aims at young people with a very attractive and affordable offer. And even worse, the specialty, the pizza balls, a sort of pizza dough pocket stuffed with tomato sauce or Nutella. Even breakfast is served on the rooftop with views on Paris!
Here is a new hostel where you can stay not far from Nation!
