Le Cheval Blanc Paris, the Samaritaine's luxury hotel

We shuddered when we read the news in 2019: the Samaritaine would be home to a hotel! And what a hotel it would be: one from the Cheval Blanc group, known for its palace in Courchevel and its luxury hotels in St Tropez and St Barth. For this unusual location, Cheval Blanc owner LVMH was able to count on renowned architect Peter Marino, who left nothing to chance. He wanted to let the light in.

The Cheval Blanc Paris is, as you might expect, a 5* hotel aiming for palace status. It has one major advantage: its location on the banks of the Seine. The hotel offers 72 rooms and suites, all with a view of the Seine. There are 26 rooms, the smallest of which are 45^m2, and 46 suites, one of which is 1,000^m2 in size and boasts a 12.5-meter-long swimming pool. The price per night starts at 1,150 euros. At this price, you'll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Seine and the Eiffel Tower through picture windows.

For Parisians and tourists passing through, four restaurants welcome gourmets. These include Plénitude, the gourmet restaurant on the 1st floor, run by chef Arnaud Donckele, already head chef at Cheval Blanc St Tropez with three Michelin stars and a 19/20 Gault&Millau rating, with sweet prodigy Maxime Frédéric (who left the George V to join Cheval Blanc).

The contemporary brasserie, Le Tout Paris, is on the 7th floor, with an incredible view from its 650 m2 panoramic terrace. The 7th floor, entirely dedicated to restaurants, is also home to Langosteria, an Italian seafood bar founded in Milan in 2007.

At Limbar, a bar-restaurant on the first floor, you'll love pastry chef Maxime Frédéric 's sweet and savoury menu, from breakfast to afternoon tea.

Then, as night falls, the place transforms into a cocktail bar, the ideal place to discover new flavors and enjoy an unforgettable experience.
