Eklo, our photos of the new hotel in Marne-la-Vallée, a stone's throw from Disneyland Paris

To offer a design establishment that is environmentally friendly and economical... This is what Eklo, a hotel group with an ecological and friendly concept, was proposing when it announced its intention to set up in the Paris region, in Marne-la-Vallée, and the promise has been kept, since this new establishment opened its doors on April 12, 2021, a stone's throw from Disneyland Paris and Village Nature, meeting all the criteria set out above.

First of all, it is a design and eco-friendly establishment, in line with the company's credo, which is anchored in its DNA. A new design and eco-responsible address, therefore, both in the construction of the establishment and in its operation. Built in wood, the hotel is characterized by a very high energy efficiency, but also by a production of electricity via photovoltaic panels, used in self-consumption.

The same goes for water consumption control, thanks to a collaboration with Betterfly Tourism's software solutions, allowing for complete monitoring and guaranteeing a sustainable approach, as well as air quality guaranteed by the adapted materials used here, and labeled A+ via the "indoor air emission" label, or even the reuse of waste. A global approach that is appreciated and that makes the establishment proud, as it drastically limits its carbon footprint.

It is also an economical establishment, in its energy, of course, as mentioned above, but also in the price of its rooms, since the range is in the lower part of what can be found in the region. Count 45 euros a night in a classic room and 19 euros a bed in a dormitory. Note that for the moment, for obvious sanitary reasons, the dormitories are only bookable in their entirety, at 110 euros per night for six people. This is a great advantage for those who would like to stay in the area and enjoy the activities that the region offers.

But let's talk a little, let's talk well: there are 108 rooms, and the accommodation offer is quite large, but above all hybrid, with Classic rooms (duo, twin or solo), Family rooms, dormitories, studios or even an apartment. The restaurant offers 100% home-made cuisine with local products, to be enjoyed at the bar, on the terrace or in the restaurant. The hotel also offers a collective kitchen, accessible to hotel guests as well as to neighboring workers or residents of the neighborhood, where you can prepare delicious meals. Table soccer, an arcade and a library are also available to all.

A 10-seat meeting room is also available for "business" guests, so they can work in peace and quiet. Finally, a grocery store, open 24 hours a day to hotel guests and visitors, and including a lot of local and sourced products, is waiting for you to do your shopping for lunch, dinner or for a small craving at 2 am (yes, it happens...). In short, a nice place to stay if you are planning a weekend or a vacation in the area.
