La Félicité is the latest spot likely to be the talk of the town this summer. This project called Morland Mixité Capital changes its name and becomes La Félicité. Considered as a genuine local building, this site is open to all in the 4^th arrondissement and has it all. set in lieu of the former administrative facilities of boulevard Morland, this building features stores, accommodations, offices, hostels, chic hotel and plant-filled roof.

As its name suggests, diversity (“mixité” in French) is the watchword of this project designed 6 years ago. As a matter of fact, Morland Mixité Capital is part of the projects that won one of the undertakings proposed by the City as part of the “Réinventer Paris” program. For the record, these projects allow handover of lands or buildings to candidates in exchange with an innovative project aiming at perfecting the urban architecture.

Thought up and designed by David Chipperfield Architects and CALQ Architecture, this is a program including 11 uses open to Parisians and tourists that was then proposed and approved. Therefore, you can work, live, stay, eat, relax, swim and garden there.

We must say that with 40,000sqm of surface, there is a lot to do. All in all, it will feature:

• SO/ Paris hotel
  SO/ Paris is the name of this flagship-hotel open to all. On the menu, 120 bedrooms, a high-perched bar-restaurant with great views on the city, a Codage spa, and the famous indoor swimming pool. The restaurant on the 16^th floor with unobstructed views is open to all, whether you are a guest or not. The SO/ Paris hotel is set to open on July 20.

• Bonnie: bar, restaurant and club with terrace by Paris Society (Opening on July 20)
  
  A new sot with lofty terrace is coming to Paris this summer. Here is Bonnie, the restaurant-bar and club by Paris Society settling on the 15th and 16th floors of SO/ Paris, the trendy hotel by the Seine, in the Marais area.

• A swimming pool and a gym
  Sport expects you on the lower floor. These spots are open to the hotel guests and subscribers. The swimming pool is also open to local schools.

• A garden, a daycare and stores
  You will have everything you need on site, even a 66-spot daycare and an art gallery. 

• A bike store
  Bikes, scooters and electric scooters store. Sale, repair, rental.

• A food market, delicatessen and tearoom-bakery 
  On the ground floor, the inner courtyard provides stores. Terroir d'Avenir takes over the huge space for a great food market and a delicatessen and a bakery-tearoom in the arch. These places are already available from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• An hostel called The People Paris Marais
  The latest glassed expansion on 4 columns unveils a 459-bed hostel, theTitiPalacio bar restaurant open to all, the inn guests or not, to have a drink and food. Here is a new festive and affordable location. Allow from €29 for a bed and €89 a private room. Families can have a 4-guest room from €120 whilst being in the very heart of Paris.

• An O'Fam tapas bar
  A trendy and laid-back bar serving tapas from Monday to Sunday. Large indoor space and gorgeous outdoor terrace.

• Social and mixed accommodations
  Social, mixed or free accommodations are available in the two wings of the main building (90 social housings, 84 mixed housings and 35 free housings) applying the latest thermal isolation standards.

  Enjoy offices on several floors in open space and coworking style.
  
  
• Plant-filled roof
  Covering 4,000sqm of roof, enjoy urban agriculture as well as a clever waste stabilization pond system allowing to retrieve gray waters from the hostel, to filter and reuse them to water the different crops.
