The Burgundy Paris offers a gourmet teatime that follows the gastronomic picnic. To enjoy on your own or with your special someone (lover or friend), this teatime presents savory and sweet treats on a very gorgeous display looking like a tree with branches.
As usual, each branch has its flavors starting from the top with sweet treats to end at the bottom with the French pastries without forgetting plain scones in the middle of the tray. In terms of savory treats, chef Guillaume Goupil offers us buckwheat blinis, smoked salmon, cucumber, finger sandwiches, eggs and chives as well as a brioche navette, avocado and smoked duck.
When it comes to sweet treats, pastry chef Pascal Hainigue treats us well with scones topped with chocolate crumble, a Piedmont nut and white coffee puff pastry, a gariguette strawberry tartlet, a lemon tartlet, a Black Forest cake and a Paris-Brest.
There are two ways to undertake this trip towards greed: with a hot drink of your choice (€60 for 2 guests) or with a glass of champagne served in addition to the hot drink (€80 for 2 guests).
This gourmet break close to the Rue Saint-Honoré won’t lack of make you feel great after a rough day!
