With its chalet and many terraces, Le Fer à Cheval is the place to be this summer 2021 to chill in the sun and party in the open-air in the verdant setting of the Domaine de Saint-Cloud.

In the heart of the Parc de Saint-Cloud, Le Fer à Cheval invites people missing nature to party in the open air in a chic guinguette spirit. On the menu, 400sqm of terraces dedicated to new-found social life and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.

It is in 2016 that Le Fer à Cheval cabin opened between gardens, terraces with views on Paris, wooden squares and flowerbeds. A never-before-seen location, built at the foot of a green theater where stood – two centuries ago – pools and water fountains!

As for the décor, white parasols, small lamps, white-clothed tables on the ground floor, two mezzanines for more privacy, and lounges on the rooftop looking over the park.

And to set the tone, Monkey team – the festive bar in Pigalle – takes care of everything! After setting Pigalle on fire, this summer 2021, the team comes to Le Fer à Cheval and brings tasty cocktails to enjoy on the terrace, dishes to share made by Cyril Lignac’s former sous-chef Hugo Pinto, great live music from Thursday evening to Saturday evening, and DJ sets to have fun.

On the restaurant’s menu, summer staples: burrata from Apulia and multicolored tomatoes, Bellota Gran Reserva Iberian ham, spicy king prawn pop-corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, feta and mint salad, and truffle pizza with arugula and parmesan.

Among our favorite dishes stands the herb-crust veal chop with vanilla mashed potatoes, a surprising twist, alongside with the smooth squid, perfectly cooked, and the revisited salmon tatami. We love the inventive way Pinto has reinterpreted classics while complying with authentic flavors.

And on Sundays, Le Fer à Cheval serves a tasty brunch on the terrace. On the menu: a star dish, the traditional viennoiseries basket, jams and homemade granola, seasonal fruit salad, fleshy pancakes, minute-made squeezed juice, and smoothie of the moment…
