Aperitivo is a widespread tradition in northern Italy, mainly in Lombardy, which has become an institution in Italian bars everywhere.
The concept is to get together after work for a drink and some antipastini, to relax and get your mouth watering before dinner!
At Marcella's, on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, you'll find a head-turning buffet of antipasti on the large blue oak bar, where you can help yourself to as many refills as you like.
You can accompany these delicacies with light cocktails like the "Spirtz Marcella" (€10 ), made with Martini Riserva, Bitter and Prosecco, or if you prefer, a Bellini.
If the buffet isn't enough for you, there's also a special gourmet Aperitivo menu, available every evening from 6pm to 9pm.
It's packed with antipastini at affordable prices. These include artichoke hearts, peperoncini dolci (€4), a plate of grilled vegetables... But also burrata plain (9€), al tartufo (12€) or affumicata (10€). Plates of assorted Italian charcuterie (18€), Italian cheeses (16€) or mixed cheeses (19€). And a fine list of Italian wines!
