This restaurant devoted to grilled food is set in a former Irish pub by the Louvre. Running it, Jean-François Piège and his wife provide exceptional meats. This explains why this winter, the two-Michelin-star chef wants to share a dish from his childhood, giving pride of pace to meat: beef fondue.

It’s been years already that Jean-François Piège and his wife Elodis Travarès-Piège have decided to take over this pub on rue Bailleul and turn it into a restaurant where grilled meat is given pride of place: this is Clover Grill.

They select the best meats in the world and perfectly cook them over fire. The quality and the remarkable cooking have made this place unmissable if you want to enjoy a choice cut.

This winter, the two-Michelin-star chef wanted to include on his menu a meal he regularly ate with his family: beef fondue. Ultimate convivial meal, it can be enjoyed as a duo or served for 4 guests and it has found its spot at Clover Grill.

Meat is cut thin slices and vegetable broth replaces the traditional oil. If you want to, you can enjoy it once you’re done with the meat.

Sauces are homemade and particularly sophisticated. Grilled turnip jelly, celeriac condiment cooked in ashes, bearnaise sauce, truffle condiment and even horseradish sauce. Choose whatever you want. Vegetables from the garden and crunchy straw potatoes are served as sides.
