If you went to Fables de la Fontaine in Paris 7th arrondissement, you may have been lucky enough to taste the cuisine of the youngest starred chef in France, Julia Sedefdjian, where she worked for three years.
After a French equivalent of a NVQ in cooking and pastry, this young 22-year old lady continues her apprenticeship in Nice alongside David Faure and arrives at Fables de la Fontaine where she’s awarded her first Michelin star.

Julia can stand on her own two feet and in January 2018, she opens here own restaurant in Paris 5th arrondissement:Baieta.
Please understand “small kiss” in Nice patois, a land very dear to the young chef’s heart.
To manage her place, she’ll be helped by Sébastien Jean-Joseph in the kitchen and in the room by Grégory Anelka she met at Fables de la Fontaine.
Together, they offer a menu with only 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts as well as some suggestions in order to be in keeping with freshness, seasonality and above all with their inspiration.
A set lunch menu is also planned.
Baieta is said to open later in January 2018. We’re looking forward to going there, tasting and telling you all about it…
