Chef Julia Sedefdjian opens her 1st restaurant: Baieta

After working for 3 years at Les Fables de La Fontaine and becoming France's youngest Michelin-starred chef, Julia Sedefdjian is flying high and opening her own restaurant in the 5th arrondissement in January 2018: Baieta.

You may have had the chance to discover the cuisine of France's youngest Michelin-starred chef, Julia Sedefdjian, at Les Fables de la Fontaine, the 7th arrondissement restaurant where she worked for 3 years.

After taking a CAP in cooking and pastry-making, the 22-year-old continued her apprenticeship in Nice, working alongside David Faure, before arriving at Les Fables de la Fontaine , where she earned her first star.

Julia wanted to stand on her own two feet, and in January 2018 opened her own restaurant in the 5th arrondissement: Baieta.
Meaning "little kiss" in Niçois dialect, a land so dear to the chef.

To run her kitchen, she'll be accompanied by Sébastien Jean-Joseph and in the dining room by Grégory Anelka, incidentally met at Les Fables de la Fontaine.
Their menu will feature just 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts, plus a few suggestions to ensure freshness, seasonality and, above all, inspiration.
A lunch menu is also planned.

Baieta is due to open during January 2018. We can't wait to try it out and tell you all about it...
