Affordable lunch at chic Jérémie restaurant

Restaurant Jérémie offers a complete lunch menu for just 25 euros. That's a low price for a top-of-the-range restaurant located in one of the capital's most exclusive districts!

Just a stone's throw from the Trocadéro and theArc de Triomphe is the restaurant Jérémie, a traditional French cuisine expressly claimed to be classic and bourgeois in a decor to match. The chef who gave his name to the establishment graduated from the prestigious Ferrandi school and opened Jérémie in 2014.

This year, Jérémie Tourdjman is offering an unbeatable deal for the neighborhood and the standing of his restaurant: a lunch menu with starter, main course and dessert for just 25 euros . (A la carte, you'd be looking at around 60 euros for a starter-main course-dessert).

Other advantages of this new lunchtime formula: it can be served express on request (30 minutes top time) and has the good idea of offering a light dish each time, cooked without any fat, as well as a vegetarian dish. In short, there's something for everyone, from diet addicts to food lovers to vegan friends.

Naturally, we took a closer look at this new formula and tested it out for you! For starters, we opt for mayo eggs in breadcrumbs and gazpacho with cherry tomatoes, basil and mozzarella. Two simple and very well executed starters.

The rest is a bit slow in coming, but we end up being served the salmon back with grilled asparagus and the delicious zucchini risotto we ordered. Our only complaint is that the salmon was a little overcooked - perhaps we were unlucky this time!

To finish, we opted for a lemon meringue tartlet with a meringue that was a little too runny, though very good, and a tea with its mignardises. Here, we have to admit that we were rather disappointed by the little coconut rocher and mini-madeleine that accompanied the tea (which, moreover, was served almost uninfused), whereas we were expecting a kind of gourmet tea with macaroons and company.

To sum up, even if the meal was punctuated by minor disappointments, the service is impeccable and the products are certainly of high quality and well-chosen: Jérémie remains a fine address for lunch in a chic French setting, without losing an arm!
