L’Enoteca: Charming Italian restaurant and exquisite transalpine wine in Paris Le Marais

L’Enoteca is part of those irresistible tables in Le Marais since it offers you for 27 years to come and enjoy tasty Italian cuisine around very good wines. We made the best of the décor and the menu renewal to go and discover this delicious restaurant.

At the corner of the rue Charles V and rue Saint Paul, L’Enoteca welcomes you in an intimate and charming setting from the 17th century, listed. Murano glass hangings, marbled tables, exposed stones walls, beams from 1600…

Since it has been existing for 27 years, its new owner, Alexandre Chapon, brought his personal touch, especially by setting up a very lovely private lounge on the upper floor, perfect to privatize and enjoy a moment with your lover or your friends.
Indeed, it can accommodate up to 30 guests. Indoor designer Ingrid Taillandier came up with the décor featuring an old wooden bookcase, Louis XIV armchairs mixed with armchairs from the 50’s. The outcome is friendly and warm.

Moving on to food, chef Lucas Minetti treats our taste buds by working only with seasonal ingredients and setting up a new menu every month.
This is how we could taste as a starter, the chef’s antipasti such as roasted mackerels, apple, ginger and black radish (€16) that doesn’t lack originality! The chef also offers organic poached egg, bread and sun-dried tomatoes sauce (€12). If you’d rather stay into classic, don’t miss the Vitello Tonnato (€12).

Let’s continue with a special emotion for our taste buds: the pan-fried ravioli stuffed with meat, butter and tarragon (€22). The herb risotto with straciatella and citrus fruits has surprised us and blown us away (€19)!
For those who’d prefer some meat, you’ve got the duck in 3 cooking or the sirloin steak tagliata.
In terms of fish, salmon fillet cooked on one side or the meagre fillet…

To end on a sweet note, we fell for the irresistible tiramisu (€9). You should also give a go to the “Corleone” or aka the candied eggplant a Sicilian dessert unique in Paris!

In order not to deny ourselves the pleasure, L’Enoteca has been elected best wine cellar in Paris and offers you no fewer than 400 references of Italian vintages! Don’t feel defeated in front of the long list and ask for advice to the waiters who are very fine connoisseurs on the matter and will recommend you the wine that will perfectly pair with your main course!

If you want to enjoy tasty Italian cuisine with good wines, in an intimate and warm décor, the whole with a smiling and nice team, L’Enoteca is the place to be!
