Picnic baskets to enjoy at the Waldorf Astoria - Trianon Palace in Versailles

The sun is shining, and with it the need for fresh air. That's why the Waldorf Astoria - Trianon Palace, in Versailles, is opening the doors to its magnificent, verdant gardens for a picnic to be enjoyed with your feet up in the grass.

A truly rustic experience, offering you the chance to savour the hotel's cuisine in picnic style, with three tasty formulas, whether you're staying at the Waldorf Astoria as an out-patient or a guest. Served under the gazebos in the hotel grounds, these picnics plunge you into a cool, green setting, surrounded by the hotel's rosebushes, for a moment of the voluptuousness that the Waldorf Astoria de Versailles so well knows how to offer.

To reserve your basket, please contact the hotel concierge at least 2 hours before your picnic, so you can enjoy this gourmet moment in peace and quiet. Baskets can be collected from the hotel concierge.

A most bucolic offer for all lovers of good food, which we were able to try out last year. Beyond the real picnic basket, with cutlery and stamped plates, the offer is most refreshing for a lunch on the grass for two. Neither too much nor too little, you finish your meal without it weighing you down, which is really rather pleasant.

We particularly appreciated the burrata, which, along with the tomatoes, provided a welcome touch of freshness, but also the desserts, two pastries accompanied by a fruit salad. Special mention also to the tasty club sandwich. A delightful moment in the countryside for all food lovers. Now all you have to do is discover our new baskets... And enjoy your picnic!
