Thierry Marx is about to strike again! After L’Etoile du Nord, La Boulangerie – open in 2016 – or Maison Dubernet at Printemps du Goût, Mandarin Oriental Paris chef expects to open in late August 2018 an organic fast food restaurant in Paris. It’s name? MarXito!
The chef talked to the newspaper and explained this restaurant will feature the “MarXito”. But what is “MarXito”? Well, “MarXito” is made of “two softly puffed buckwheat buns filled with products mainly from plant origin, coming from organic agriculture”.
To be enjoyed in a savory or sweet version, these breads will be made on order and cost €5.50. If you really feel hungry, you can have a set menu for a bout €15 (for one savory MarXito, a sweet one and a drink), to be enjoyed on the spot or to take away.
In terms of décor, the two Michelin-star chef bet on the very coveted Marseilles designer Ora-ïto. All in all, 60 seats will be available.
So, does “MarXito” whet your appetite?
