Gilles Malafosse from group Accor and Laurent de Gourcuff managing group Noctis have done it again! After Perruche, the new perched restaurant-bar on Printemps Haussmann rooftop, the famous duo, also the brains behind Loulou and Monsieur Bleu, have opened Girafe this summer.
Girafe is the new trendy and chic restaurant of Paris Cité de l’Architecture. Accessible from the museum entry, set on the Place du Trocadéro, this restaurant displays a luxury decoration thanks to French indoor architect Joseph Dirand’s talent.
The place also reveals a1930’s-inspired style and a soft décor made of cream bench seats, marble bar, tropical plants…
In terms of food, Girafe bets on quality produces and sea-based dishes thought up and concocted by chef Benoît Dargère.
On the menu then? Ceviche, sashimi yellow tail with sesame, as well as lobster, sole, flounder, swordfish wiener schnitzel and even lobster pasta with tomato sauce.
In other words, stop looking everywhere! Girafe is the new Parisian restaurant to try and discover as soon as possible!
