Le Schiap: the Italian trattoria at the Hôtel de Berri

Italy invites itself to theHôtel de Berri with the opening of Schiap, the Parisian palace'snewest restaurant.

Located on the exact site of Elsa Schiapparelli's former townhouse, Le Schiap features Italian cuisine based on authentic, well-sourced products.

To tantalize your taste buds, the hotel has called on Tuscan chef Michele Dalla Valle. Originally from Pisa, and based in Paris since 2011, the chef has worked at such renowned addresses as Caffè Emporio Armani, Relais Plaza at Plaza Athénée, Le Meurice, Il Vino d'Enrico Bernardo, Sasso Tondo and Il Cuoco Galante.

Surrounded by his 100% Italian brigade, Chef Michele Dalla Valle unveils a menu that evolves with the seasons, with daily specials and great Italian classics revisited by the Chef.

Try our artichoke salad with asiago cheese, green asparagus risotto with castelmagno (a PDO cheese from the Italian province of Cuneo), vitello tonnato and fregola, or sea bass stuffed with vegetables.

For those with a sweet tooth, there's the classic panna cotta (without gelatine), not forgetting the unmissable Tiramisu.

All to be enjoyed in an Italian trattoria-style dining room, decorated by Philippe Renaud.
