Italy comes to Hotel de Berri with the opening of Le Schiap, the brand-new restaurant of the Parisian palace.
Set in lieu of Elsa Schiapparelli’s former private mansion, Le Schiap highlights an Italian cuisine based on authentic and sourced produces.
To tease your taste buds, the hotel called in Tuscan chef Michele Dalla Valle. Coming from Pisa and living in Paris since 2011, the chef worked at very renowned addresses such as Caffè Emporio Armani, Plaza Athénée Relais Plaza, Le Meurice, Il Vino d’Enrico Bernardo, Sasso Tondo and even Il Cuoco Galente.
Surrounded by his 100% Italian team, chef Michele Dalla Valle reveals a menu evolving according to seasons with daily offerings and great Italian classics revisited by the Chef.
Let yourself be tempted by an artichoke salad with asiago cheese, a green asparagus risotto and castelmagno (a PDO cheese from the Coni province in Italy), a vitello tonnato and fregola or the vegetable-stuffed sea bass.
For sweet-toothed restaurant-goers, you should give a go to the classic panna cotta (gelatin-free) without forgetting the irresistible Tiramisu.
The whole is to be enjoyed in a dinning room inspired by Italian trattorias and decorated by Philippe Renaud.
