Looking for a new restaurant by the République neighborhood? Let’s discover Larchimede, the new bistro in rue Marie et Louise in Paris 10th arrondissement. Blue bench seats, wooden chairs, modern paintings, the décor is contemporary and laid-back.
At the helm, Larry Battet warmly welcomes you and advises you about the dishes. In the kitchen, we have Ahmed El Idrissi offering a seasonal menu, based on fresh produces. These two friends met in La Closerie des Lilas kitchen.
Lovely mixes, good juices and gourmet dishes without fuss, here’s what you’ll find in the plate. As for us, we went for the tasting plate that has several starters and the marinated organic seabass, soy, gomasio, lime and winter vegetables. Creamy sweet potato and candied butternut soup was on the menu of our plate that day but know that the menu changes regularly according to the seasonal produces.
In terms of dishes, don’t hesitate to go for the fish Rossini’s style, a lovely surf and turf enhanced with a pan-fried foie gras escalope and a tasty sauce, a true delight. That day, we also had the organic seabream, roasted winter squash and chestnut. Please note that the restaurant essentially chose line-caught or organic fishes for the menus.
Meat eaters will go for the beef fillet and fleur de sel served with finely mashed potatoes enhanced with truffle oil and seasonal vegetables.
In terms of dessert, go for the Millefeuille léger or the Pain Retrouvé, this delicious French toast with honey-roasted fig and served with hazelnut ice cream. Soft and smooth as it can be, we love it.
In other words, to have a good moment in duo or with friends, eat in a good and relaxed atmosphere, you’re at the right place!
