Do you like exotic flavors? Do you like good wines? Meet in the Montorgueil neighborhood in Paris to discover the latest bistro, Mythologie. A new friendly table that gives pride of place to French-Asian combinations including Japanese bentos, tapas and a very curious wine list.
A menu and atmospheres changing according to the moment of the day: at lunch time, the chef offers three sophisticated bentos (meat, fish or vegetarian) while for dinner, the “food-sharing” is available “in a brand-new shape” including a French-Asian tapas menu: pesto fried goat’s cheese, squid, chorizo and lime wok with rosemary, green rice and king shrimps… As many flavors that undoubtedly shake the taste buds up of good food lovers.
In the weekend, it’s brunch time including delicious Benedict eggs, a Thai Bolognese bao, surprise rice balls and even a slice of tofu and lime cheesecake. But Mythologie is also all about wine: in 2013 chef Emilie Chen – who created the restaurant – decides to create her brand of Mythologie wine in partnership with winegrower Nicolas Vellas. The fruit of their creation? Five fruity and delicious wines with a delightful packaging, each named after a Greek god: Aphrodite, Apollon, Athena, Poseidon and Mythologie [Mythology] of course. Wines marvelously pairing dishes for a moment of grace between Japan, Greece and France.
Shall we go there, friends?
