Today, we take you to discover Chez Minnà, the Corsican restaurant a stone's throw from the Grands Boulevards in Paris making us enjoy hearty classic and revisited food inspired by our grandmas. On the menu, cocktails and tasty dishes inspired by the Ile-de-Beauté, aka Corsica.

Looking for a great spot to have a pre-dinner drink and enjoy tasty and hearty dishes? Come and enjoy Chez Minnà, the restaurant created by our favorite Corsican grandma where we enjoy hearty cuisine that has been updated.

Everything starts with a drink. In this super chill and raw place, you are like at home. To get into the swing of things, we discover a list of revisited cocktails inspired by the Ile de Beauté. Forget your average mojito and enjoy the Captain Chataîgne, a unique creation based on spicy rum, Mavela chestnut liqueur, lemon and egg white, super tasty. But if you happen not to be into alcohol, you can also trsut the bartender and ask for an exclusive alcohol-free cocktail custom-made to your needs.

To pair your drink, fall for the delicious plates to share such as the shredded truffled gouda or the hearty zucchini fritters served with a sauce based on brousse and mint for a delicate and fresh hint in this vegetarian starter.

Moving on to main courses, you really do not want to miss the grilled squid perfectly cooked and litteraly melting in the mouth. Add to this some mashed potatoes with chopped hazelnuts for a nice and crispy touch, and there you go, far away from Paris, by the idyllic shores of Corsica. Another delicious dish to feel like summer is not over, the line-caught tuna ceviche with seasonal vegetables naming sun-filled eggplant with bell pepper coulis and panzetta. Note that the menu changes with the seasons, but the irresistible fresh cannelooni with DPO Corsican cheese and chards are still on the menu!

To finish this tasting with a fresh dish, we go for the Chef's Fiadone, a Corsican specialty we could describe as a Corsican style cheesecake that - depending on the season - is based on brousse (Corsican ewe's milk cheese) or brocciu (ewe's whey cheese) that is to be enjoyed with homemade limoncellu whipped cream. Add some red myrtle liqueur to close the meal and you have complete your culinary road trip at Chez Minnà as it should be:
