Gourmet alert! Gastronomy and delicate dishes lovers come to delightfully discover Dominique Bouchet’s Parisian restaurant in Paris 8th restaurant. What’s special? It combines very French flavors with the finesse of the Japanese cuisine for dishes of an unparalleled sophistication and tastiness.
A Michelin-starred restaurant since 2006 offering a “traditional yet modern cuisine in a simple and clear setting”. And a chef who worked in the greatest restaurant in town: in 1969 after graduating from La Rochelle hotel school, Joël Robuchon quickly spots him and Bouchet takes part in the opening of Concorde La Fayette and then, in 1978, he becomes the chef of the Jamin restaurant. In 1981, he takes the helm of La Tour d’Argent kitchen to then open a franchise in Japan a few years later. In 1997, he becomes Hôtel de Crillon executive chef and opens in 2004 his very own restaurant.
A delicious menu we gladly discover: as a starter, we can go for a soft Miso artichoke heart, enjoy a sake-marinated foie gras or be amazed by a scallop carpaccio, mango, red beetroot, granny smith, truffle and dill. As a main course, we can choose a lobster parmentier or a hind fillet with pepper sauce and redcurrant jelly and for dessert, we have the choice: soy milk “Fuji Oil” pie, MontBlanc, warm Biscuit de Reims soufflé with Grand Marnier, revisited Baked Alaska…. Gourmet people and sweet-toothed patrons have loads of options.
The occasion to treat our taste buds… Shall we go there, friends?
